Prof. Hajime Eto

Hajime Eto, Ph.D. was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1935. He studied philosophy of science and cybernetics at the University of Tokyo and operations research at the University of California, Berkeley. After teaching several subjects related to socio-technology such as operations research, decision science, technology policy and policy science at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, he is now a professor emeritus, the University of Tsukuba, Japan. He has been engaged in the research or development of decision-scientific tools and their applications to real problems of importance such as health promotion, welfare development, food security, social and technological innovation, and others. He has published scientific books on science and technology policies and management from North-Holland, Elesevier, IGI Global, and others. He also serves many interdisciplinary journals published in West and East as the editorial board members.7 April, 2017.
